The distance to the airport is great with plenty of places to eat within walking distance however parking is a bit confusing due to their location to other non-Marroitt hotels. Because there isn't a gate to separate the lots, one could be towed.
Front desk was very friendly, no bottled water in the room which I'm accustomed to at Marriotts. Rooms are clean with more than adequate space as well as multiple electrical plugs/outlets for our growing needs. That is always welcome to find and a convenience I am grateful for.
There wasn't a shower floor mat; did not discover that until I was ready to shower. Not sure if that was an oversight or if they prefer that you use a towel. Towels are not a good choice for mats from a safety point of view.
I've found the rooms at most hotels to be somewhat awkward; this is true of many chains. With the expansion of toilet seats and the curved shower curtain rods, one almost has to straddle the toilet to shut the bathroom door. You literally have to sit sideways on the toilet with the door open to utilize the facilities and it's quite uncomfortable. To shower you have to stand at an awkward angle on the other side of the toilet. I've seen the same issue on Disney properties as well. I am hopeful that at some point when a remodel happens that this will be corrected at all hotels with this weird layout.
