We have used this hotel for parking and flying several times. This is the first time we were initially put in a room with the wrong bed. Once I called the ParkSleepHotel hotline the situation was remedied quickly.
Great location close to the airport with reliable shuttle service. However, the bathroom condition was poor. There was a very loose ceiling tile right above the shower leaving an exposed area & leaving us feeling exposed. We checked in late & left early, otherwise I would have asked for another room.
With the room and parking options, this is definitely good value for money. Its proximity to the airport and the regular and courteous shuttle service are an added bonus. We will definitely use the Wyndham Garden the next time we fly out of Newark airport.
Almost everything about this hotel is fine. The rooms are clean and pleasant. The shuttle service gets one to and from the airport, with trips taking place every 30 minutes. I've eaten in the restaurant and it was acceptable. The pool is fine for swimming or just cooling off. The only thing that I find particularly annoying has to do with the TV system. For some reason, this time and every time that I've stayed here, the on-screen menu for the TV is about 2 hours behind. It's great if one wants to know what one missed. Every two hours, the menu advances to the point where one can see 30 minutes into the future schedule. It's not at all convenient for deciding what to watch, and I find it hard to believe that this can't be fixed. I also can't think of a reason for them wanting it this way.
