The rooms were recently updated, clean & comfortable, room rates reasonable, shuttle to & from airport,was quick & reliable, only 5 minutes from sirport, received coffee, fruit & muffin even though we left before breakfast hours began. It was alittle difficult to locate...not visible from 28th St, but felt car was safe there while on trip.

I have a handicap and the hotel staff were very accommodating. Better than usual hotel free breakfast. Hotel shuttle runs approximately every half hour. Call when you land and wait in hotel shuttle waiting area open building. If you just missed the previous shuttle pick up, you will have to wait until the driver drops off the previous customers and returns to the airport. Also, the shuttle leaves the hotel at the scheduled time so make sure you are at the lobby in time to catch it. The rooms were very clean. Our only issue was we could have used an extra blanket. We could have called the front desk, but didn’t as it was only for 1 night so we just turned up the heat. Ate dinner as the Longhorn Steakhouse restaurant at the mall behind the hotel and the food was very good. The only problem we had was finding the hotel which is in a wooded area and can behard to see, especially at night. The address it lists is on 28th Street SE, but we turned off on 28th Street West by mistake, and pulled into the mall at that intersection to check our GPS to see where we needed to go to correct our direction. We were happily surprised to see that the hotel was actually 800 ft ahead of our location, just behind the trees between the mall and the highway. We took the drive indicated on our GPS and it was the 2nd hotel on that drive. It is supposedly the back way in, but worked great. After checking in, we just went back to the mall and ate at the Longhorn Steakhouse without having to get back on 28TH street that night. All of the staff were professional, polite, and helpful, and our vehicle was where we had left it. We will definitely stay in this hotel if we need another park, sleep, fly stay in Grand Rapids and have already recommended it to 2 other people.
