Holiday Inn Express & Suites Calgary Airport Trail NE CALGARY

I found the breakfast, room, parking for my vehicle while I was away and shuttle to the airport was very good, however when I came back from my trip I called to say I was back, was told to go to the appropriate pillar once I got my luggage and call back to have the shuttle come get me. I got my luggage, got to the pillar and called and got no answer. I called again a few minutes later and got no answer. I called 26 times over the next 40 minutes and never got an answer. I ended up having to take an Uber to get back to my vehicle. I brought this up to the front desk clerk and was told there was nothing she could do, no offer to pay my Uber bill, no offer to take my concerns further, no resolution. I picked this hotel because it had park and fly and a shuttle service to the airport but will not stay again if I can’t rely on having a shuttle service to get back.

I see this hotel on numerous times when I go overseas when I travel as it’s close to the airport and has really good customer service. There was an issue this time with the with the cab service between the airport and the hotel as I arrived at 2:30 in the morning. there’s an argument between the cab driver and the front desk clerk over a four dollar differential in the cab fees The front desk clerk was extremely rude to the cab driver, which I found was unacceptable and I end up paying the difference between the actual and the fair by the hotel just resolve the argument as I was tired and was fed up with. listening to it. What is this? This state was excellent. Good customer service great clean facilities. I will be staying there again

Nice relaxing stay after a plane ride

No problem with the hotel, spent one night clean and comfortable . The big issue we had is this site sent us to the wrong hotel , sent us to the Holiday Inn Express on hopewell way in Calgary. Totally out of our way . The manager said this had happened before Thank you
