Sailport Waterfront Suites TAMPA

We had reserved 1 - one bedroom, one bath suite and 1 - two bedroom, 2 bath suite for the night prior to our cruise. I had printed out our confirmation for this reservation, so glad I did too! When we arrived I was told that they did not have a two bedroom, two bath suite available! The lady at the front desk explained they were completely booked. She called her manager and he said it wasn\'t their issue and for me to call parksleephotels and take it up with them. We had driven 11 hours and did not have the energy to argue with them or you on this matter. We were tired, hungry and wanted to start our vacation. Needless to say, it did not start out very pleasant. She did offer a one bedroom, one bath for 4 adults instead of what we had reserved. This suite did have one bedroom and a queen bed in the living area, no sofa, no chairs or she said we could pay an extra $280 for another one bedroom, one bath instead. We went to look at this unit and decided to keep it, BUT that is not what I had reserved through your website. Accommodations turned out okay since we are family but disappointing since it was not what we reserved. They did confirm we had seats on the shuttle to the port and would have seats on our return. When we got loaded up in the shuttle the next morning, the driver announced it would be $10 extra per person to go to the port! Since, thankfully, I had printed out everything for this reservation, I pulled out my paperwork showing we had already paid. He had to call his office, take photos of my paperwork and then keep my printout as verification. Finally, we were on the way to the port and our cruise. Upon our return on Sunday November 19, I called and the shuttle arrived to pick us up to go back to Sailport. The driver again asked for our voucher, which of course, we did not have since the people at Sailport did not issue this for us. Again, I got out my other printout to give him and he accepted it, after much discussion. This could all have been avoided had Sailport acknowledged exactly what we had reserved and paid for. I expect to receive what I have reserved. In addition, there was to be a small deposit of $24.81 for each room we reserved and we would pay the complete amount upon our arrival. This was not the case. I was charged the entire amount about a week prior to my arrival. I attempted to call you to make sure the 2nd room was still confirmed but was on hold forever and then a recording told me to call back later. Another total disappointment! I did go online and see that both rooms were still confirmed so I was under the impression all was good with our reservation. I did not receive any notice that you or Sailport had charged my card the entire amount, but noticed it when I was paying my statement. Needless to say, I will not recommend your services to anyone and will never use your site again for any of my future needs. You really need to explore the hotels that you reserve and find out just how incompetent they are! Yes, it was clean and the view was very pretty but dealing with rude people and not getting what you have paid for are unacceptable.
