Initially I sought a room for the beginning and end of a 20-day river cruise in Europe with 20 days parking. After more research, and an experience where our truck was broken into at another hotel in Baton Rouge, I opted out of the parking and chose FastPark for the car for some additional security. I'm kinda glad I did because the area doesn't seem too secure. The hotel carries no cash (when someone else asked change for a $20), not many places to eat nearby, and nearby businesses had bars on the doors. The property and room was great and the breakfast was very good, with fullsize refrigerator and microwave. Even the icemaker was great with pellet-ice. People were very nice. Made me wonder if the other nearby park, sleep, and fly hotels had the same security concerns.
