We arrived at 11 PM, just behind a shuttle carrying about 30 non-English speaking patrons. After standing in the door for an hour, only about 5 people had been checked in. I asked to speak to a manager and was informed by a very harried employee that she was the only employee in the entire building. Asked if there was a manager on-call for these kinds of situations. She replied, "No." My daughter and I needed to be back at the airport at 3:30 AM to get to Florida in time for the Citrus Tour MS Bike Ride. In desperation, we walked to the Day's Inn. Fortunately, they were able to accommodate us, allowing us to get nearly 3 hours of sleep. Quality Inn did not meet my most basic expectations due to lack of available personnel. The young lady at the desk was doing her best but it was simply too much for one person. This also raises a security risk. How safe are your employees? How safe are your guests?
