(Marriott Ambassador) SATISFACTORY - The property was overall very clean, and the front desk (in person) was great, BUT over the phone, not so much. Most Marriott properties at least discount parking for Ambassadors. When I called in they were ice cold about it and refused to even ask the supervisor. Then when I got there and saw that I booked 3rd party (which I shouldn’t have had to do as an ambassador), they acted like they were doing me a favor and said we wont charge you for parking…?!?!? Not sure where the disconnect was.
THANK GOD ParkSleep came into the picture, they saved me $100+ bucks for the parking alone. $13 daily rate is acceptable for a cat 5 and above, in a prime location. As a cat 4, Paying about 150/night…. Delta should have complimentary parking to begin with. Also at most Delta locations in the USA, its complimentary parking. This place should be no exception. They are at least a 10 min ride to the airport.
** on the bright side - the shuttle was super convenient and easy to use. The person/driver was extremely pleasant and professional.
They should have given leniency with the daily parking fee for Titanium member and above . Why? Ambassadors spend and annual/projected $20k - $30k, bottom line we should have to pay for silly parking. SPG never charged for parking or its elite members.
MOST IMPORTANT | THE AC IN THE ROOMS DONT WORK.
When we checked in, we got to the room, we noticed a lot of rooms had fans outside the doors….. we chuckled until we got into the room, the joke was on us! It was a sauna. On the way up we felt so bad for the engineer, he was literally stopping at ever floor, way overworked.
Bottom line - prob due to Covid, MOST of the ac units needed maintenance and filters cleaned; we had a 5am flight and we were too tired to get it fixed. Miserable night though.
Hopefully the problem has been solved by now. Don’t think I would return without calling ahead of time to ask about the AC issue. Hope this helps!
