It was much easier to stay at the hotel than wake up at 5am to make our early flight. We got to the hotel late the night before, set up a wakeup call, and woke up at a reasonable time to make our flight. The trip to the airport was 10 minutes. We left our car for 6 days in the lighted hotel parking lot.
It took about 25 minutes for the van to pick us up once we called from baggage claim when we arrived. He took us straight to our car.
For the cost and convenience, it was well worth the cost (probably cheaper or about the same as long term parking).
