While the people at the property were kind and friendly, the property itself is a bit tired. The rooms are comfortable and clean but small. While the finishings have been updated in the room, the bathrooms most likely haven't been updated since the 80s, but they were clean. We were given a room RIGHT in front of the elevators & any conversations others had while waiting were heard in absolute detail (meaning it was LOUD).
The airport shuttle was convenient enough, but quite shabby.
All of this said, you get what you pay for & for NYC, and this is comfortable enough for a place to crash before an early morning flight & park while away.
