I did a park/fly/sleep, since my departing flight was late in the day. Drop-off was easy, and the shuttle was fortunately ready for us. Coming back, we just missed the shuttle and had to wait an hour for it to come back. But that's forgiven, as we had a friendly staff, a nice room with comfy beds, and breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, and of course, bacon. Good coffee, too. While the area my car was parked isn't covered, it didn't seem to effect the car. Would 100% recommend (just get to the terminal 5 shuttle location before :35 past the hour).
