It was clean and a convenient place to leave our car while we were away. The only negative was that the shuttle took a long time getting to our port, so I would recommend requesting a shuttle at least 30min earlier than you think you\'ll need. Also, we were told to just call when we got off our cruise ship and a shuttle would come pick us up. But, when I did that I was told it would be a 45 minute wait! That\'s a long time when you\'re sitting out in the cold with all your luggage. They also couldn\'t describe where the shuttle would pick us up. We ended up having to pay for an UBER back. I would stay there again, but just wouldn\'t plan to use the shuttle.

Can’t say enough about how easy this Holiday Inn Express made the start to our cruise. Friendly and helpful desk staff. Housekeeping people always greeted us as we passed. Room was splendid, large, well-appointed. Only complaint is that the mattress was really jiggly. Parking was a breeze and the whole long-term parking system was quick and direct. Shuttle service was efficient. Can’t say enough good stuff.

We drove to San Diego from Phoenix to get a great airfare to Hawaii so needed a place near the airport for an early morning flight where we could park our car for almost 2 weeks, so we choose this place. Talk about exceeding our expectations! Eli the front desk man at check-in was so genuinely gracious and charming— he made me feel like a VIP. Very clear on how and where to park, where to leave keys, how to get the airport shuttle at 6 and eat at 5:50 AM and we ended up in an absolutely beautiful suite with two separate bedrooms and an enormous beautiful bathroom with spacious countertops, wonderful lighted mirrors, a huge handicap shower that had no step in, with a bench seat and two different kinds of shower heads. Linens and pillow cases were top notch, bed comfy, towels nice, hot breakfast, courteous and efficient shuttle driver, nice morning manager in duty. But that Eli, who was our welcoming first impression— what a lovely man!

Room and hotel was super clean and in good shape(aside from elevators) snack shop very complete and offers more than most. We did a sleep and cruise package so we could leave our car-good deal. Shuttle is very available and takes you several places. Location close to Old Town, Airport and cruise line was super! We added a night as we were so happy.
