Hyatt Place Ft. Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port DANIA BEACH

Great place for one night start to our trip to Freeport. Most importantly, we needed to leave our car for over a month. Protected lot at the hotel was easy and great. Short taxi ride to port. As to hotel, it was a very good Hyatt experience. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Overall, a great selection for anyone heading to airport or port for longer trip and needs to feel comfortable leaving their car.

Location was great. Staff was friendly and hotel very clean. Breakfast was good too. Only issue, my confirmation said “Pre/Post Cruise Package with Parking and Shuttle to Cruise Port” Imagine our surprise to be told we needed to pay an additional $60 for the 2 of us to shuttle to and from the port. That certainly dimmed the excitement of our stay.

Location is great. Staff very friendly. Close to airport and cruise port but I was surprised when told there was a fee for the shuttle which was not stated in the reservation. $22 pp round trip. Description stated shuttle service but no mention that there was a cost. Normally, this info is in the description . Also return pick up was a long wait. We waited over 45 minutes after we called for pick up only to end up on a shuttle with people going to FLL airport, not back to the hotel, which took another 30 minutes or so. Then had to change shuttles at the airport to get back to the hotel.

Loved the Hyatt Place. It was clean and inviting. Staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was a plus. Location was good with plenty of stores and eatery’s close.
