Fairfield Inn & Suites Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport MENDOTA HEIGHTS

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Quick checkin and clean room. Nice short ride on the shuttle to the airport also.

The staff was great. Room temperature was perfect.

The hotel was a solid choice. Clean, friendly staff, smooth checkin even though we had to get 3 keys made to get into the room. The breakfast was okay but certainly not great and we only had bath towels without any hand or wash cloths. Our airport shuttle was smooth and very pleasant.

Tho the staff were truly very good..the facility needs a lot of work and a major update ..as grounds/parking lot resembles a war zone with large holes and the roo.s have no USB plugs..bottom line investments badly needed in the physical plant

Good temperature control in room, absolute cleanliness, friendly staff. Only complaint was all the potholes in the driveway.

The Good: Staff were friendly and quick Airport shuttle driver was awesome Room was clean The Bad: Unsightly water damage to the bathroom ceiling, Room air conditioning was broken/anemic. 80+ degrees and humid doesn’t make for much sleep.

We did the extended parking. Everything from check-in to the room and to the airport drop off was wonderful. We returned on a Saturday and that is where it went downhill fast. I called for the shuttle to pick us up at 4:15pm. Was told to call back when I have my bags in hand and was waiting at the shuttle pick up area at the airport. I called back at 4:25pm (bags in hand) and was placed on hold for over 10 minutes. While still on hold, I used another phone and got right through. They said they would send someone. 20 minutes later, I call again. They said they have someone in route. 20 minutes later we call again. They again were on their way and would call us when they got there. No call was ever made to us. We had to call again only to be told they thought the driver picked us up already because he was back at the hotel. NOPE, we were still waiting. We were eventually picked up at 6:00pm. 1 hour and 45 minutes after we landed and after my first phone call for a pick up. I think they could do better than that.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast was great. Am concerned about total charge, but will see how it all checks out as there seem to be more charges then stated.

Even though the hotel is older it is very clean and it has been updated. Very nice staff. Would highly recommend this hotel.
