Here are some things that are offered in Baltimore. There are plenty of things to do in Baltimore this October!

We have the National Aquarium, Maryland Science Center, Port Discovery Children’s Museums, the Maryland Zoo and Ripley’s Believe it or Not in the Inner Harbor. There are over 300 free events and fall festivals in October alone! For example: Free museum times on Saturdays, Teen Summit that helps children with conflict resolutions, American Visionary Art Museum  are offering free workshops on lantern making. Chesapeake Shakespeare Company Presents: Baltimore STYLE Night, Anne of the Thousand Days, The Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, October 20 from 6:30 – 8 p.m.; performance at 8pm.

There is a walking tour of Edgar Allen Poe’s final resting place and you can tour his home (which is a national Historic Landmark), for a fee. The Enoch Pratt Free Library has a collection of letters and memorabilia of Poe’s work.
