Houston Texas has some happenings in 2017. From food to museums to Super Bowl LI. Houston has a lot going on for the next year.

First of all, the Super Bowl LI is here. Live at the NRG stadium, the football festivities start 10 days before the Super Bowl itself.  The free live festival starts January 27 and runs until February 5, 2017.


There is the Midlands Music Festival. It will have three days of music and four nights of camping. It is at the Texas Renaissance Festival ground on May 5th through 7th. It has Renaissance activities and food and great music.


Broadway at the Hobby center is will play “Hamilton” as part of its Broadway Best Series. Please check back for the correct dates.


The iconic 30th Annual Art Car parade is this year! The parade will offer over 250 art pieces. They have cars that have been transformed into other objects such as a F-18 fighter jet and more.

The Lone Star FLight Museum is opening in the late summer 2017. The museum houses WWI, WW2 and modern era aircraft. It also has an auditorium and meeting rooms.


In the fall of 2017, North Houston Skatepark will be one of the largest bike parks in the country,

It is 20 acres, and is a BMX sanctioned race track, street course, have freestyle ramps and bowls. It also has a community events center.


So there are just some the things that is happening in Houston on the 2017 year. It is going to be an exciting year!
