Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Oakland Airport OAKLAND

This is an older facility. But the rooms are ok. Parking is secure, onsite with a coded security gate. Location is great if you are flying out of Oakland Airport, entrance is just across the street. Check in was quick and friendly.

Totally helpful front desk staff. Old but very clean and large room. Simple parking process. On time shuttle. All good.

A no frills establishment. My room was clean . Shuttle service was on time and runs 24 hours. Good place to park, sleep and fly.

It is a no frills hotel but has great service and a shuttle to the airport. The only downside of our stay was a party taking place in the reception hall/banquet room the night of our stay. Since we needed to be up before 5:00 am, our plan was to go to bed by 8;30. Unfortunately that plan changed with loud music playing until just past 10;30.

Check-in was relatively easy. My bill was about $2 more than I expected. After a 2.5 hr drive in Bay Area traffic I wasn’t in a mood to contest it. But if I had a complaint it would be thevtvvreception. Terrible & no TV guide available. Not that that would have improved the quality of the tv Reception. Bring a Kindle or book to read. WiFi was just so-so. Bed was comfortable & shower was nice. The pleasant surprise was the decent complimentary breakfast. Nothing hot other than coffee or tea, but a nice supply of croissants & large Costco- like muffins! The shuttle took us to Oakland airport on time. I guess the real test will be how long it takes for them to pick us up after we call them next week!

My husband and I have stayed here before to use their stay, park, and fly. Our rooms are always clean, spacious, and comfortable. The mattress will surprise you - very comfortable and we always slept well here. Staff is another positive - very friendly and helpful. Our shuttle driver was on time both taking us to the airport as well as bringing us back to our car. The cost cannot be beat.

Conveniently located and clean. Worth the money paid for.

Rooms are not fresh smelling.
