Fairfield Inn Greensboro Airport GREENSBORO

Clean and great location, restaurant across the parking lot.

The one night I spent there was fine. Very nice hotel. Very pleasant and helpful young lady at the reception desk. I got the shuttle very early the next morning. Again, a very nice lady took me to the airport. When I returned from my trip, I called the hotel to make sure that the shuttle would be returning for me. That is when I discovered that my good luck had run out. The young lady who answered the phone asked if I had reserved a time to be picked up; I told her that I had not been told that I needed to do so. She said that she would find someone to pick me up. After about 30 minutes, I called back and learned that the regular driver left 4 hours earlier, and the young lady suggested an Uber or she could keep looking for a driver. At that point, I called an Uber. I was not happy! I should have been informed about the need to schedule the return shuttle. Lesson learned!

Our 6:30 am shuttle never arrived so I used Uber at 7:15 am. I received an email later that morning from Fairfield showing my credit card was charged $236.96 instead of the amount stated by ParkSleepHotels.com of $145.44 after my $23.03 deposit already charged to my card. I called the Fairfield from the airport and simply confused the Fairfield employee who does not understand your program. Hopefully I can sort all this out on Nov 9th when I return from my cruise.
